Rosy is a graduate of the class of 1991 from the Graphic Design School at the University of San Luis Potosi, Mexico and in 1993 she earned a Masters Degree in Visual Arts from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milano, Italy. While studying in Milan, Rosy honed her considerable skills as a designer and worked closely with a number of renowned artists including Heinz Waible, Daniele Baroni, and Nino di Salvatore.

In 1995 she returned to Mexico and began her professional career at the Information and Graphic Design Department of the University of San Luis Potosi where her duties included the creation of visual and marketing strategies for all faculties.

While working as a designer Rosy also served as a professor of Graphic Design, Consumer Analysis and Marketing at both the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) campus San Luis, and at the Faculty of Habitat at the University of San Luis Potosi.

In 1999 Rosy moved to Canada and operated her own successful home decor business. She also taught Spanish and created graphic design elements for various clients including the Manitoba Theatre for Young People, Banyan Trading Company, Red River College, and Graphic Designers of Canada.

Rosy relocated to Victoria, B.C. in 2001 where she worked as a free lance designer and volunteer with the Graphic Designers of Canada. In 2002 she became a valuable member of the design team at CHEK Television and created and maintained many brand elements for all broadcast news programs.

Rosy is also an accomplished acrylic artist who continues to create surprising and provocative works that hang in many offices and homes across North America.
